Our third and final event, Durumbura Dhurabang Stakeholders Day, was held at Macquarie University, on 10th December, 2024.

The Durumbura Dhurabang Stakeholder Project: Workshop 2

Our second Stakeholder event, held at Macquarie University, on 10th October, 2024, attracted around 60 attendees as news got around that we were building something important as a Caring for Country initiative. Workshop participants identified key obstacles to the ecological restoration of the Durumbura Dhurabang (Lane-Cove River), as well as opportunities going forward.

The Durumbura Dhurabang Stakeholder Project: Workshop 1

The Durumbura Dhurabang project is a recent Dharug-led initiative aiming to return traditional custodial ontologies, knowledges, language and practices to what is commonly known as the Lane Cove River catchment, in respectful alliance with existing river stakeholders.
